“The Lord’s Been Good”
So, you ask, what is the Good News? If I told you that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whoever believes in him shall not die but have everlasting life, would that be appealing enough to reconcile with God? The Good News is the chronicle of Jesus’ life from his birth through the resurrection according to the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and rendered as a poem set to Hip Hop and, Rap music.
So why Christian Hip Hop and rap music, you may ask, I don’t like Hip Hop and Rap. The youth of today are drawn to the Hip Hop and Rap music genre. Our goal is to reach out to them and bring as many of these young people into the fold as is possible. My prayer is that God will bless this effort and increase our territory to accomplish this end. God does not wish that any should be lost. He who has ears let him hear. He, who has eyes, let him see the Glory of God.
So what is the alternative? Since we believe that every man (woman), I’d better be inclusive of the women less I incur the wrath of the politically correct, since Adam is born a sinner and is estranged from God and since we believe that God loves us so much that he devised a plan to reconcile all who believe back to Himself through Jesus Christ our savior, we escape eternal damnation (death). This Gospel Rap music video and hip hop screensaver tells this story in an entertaining and, hopefully, an edifying manner.
