Author's Notation:
As I was reading and studying the Bible, I found myself inserting
words into sentences that were not there. Over a period of time I began to realize
the these words (That I was trying to insert) were rhyming. At first I discounted
the possibility of poems since I never considered myself as having any particular
poetic skills. Yet it kept happening. So I said to myself, "Self--let's address this
phenomena once and for all. Let's see if there really are poems in these verses!
The result was, within twenty minutes the first poem was penned. I was astonished.
The poem captured the pure essence of the Bible verse I was studying. So I determined
to try it again. And, again, the same result. Over the next few months the Christian
Poems story emerged that tells the story of Jesus, Birth through the Resurrection.
It was an amazing and Blessed experience. I am humbled that God would choose me to
release his Word in these poems and, initally, rendered as a Computer Screen Saver,
and now a Music Video. It is my prayer that the Christian Poems Story will touch
and inspire millions of people of the power of God who permitted Jesus to die on
the Cross and then raised him from the dead (The Resurrection that we Christians
celebrate on Easter Sunday) so that we might live forever with THEM and all who love
Him and believe. Now in a world of different religions the teachings of Christ just
seems clear to me! Praise his Holy Name.
